Our Team

Matu Saye

Matu is the President and founder of Technology for Liberia. She is a native of the Republic of Liberia. She has resided in the United States for several years and is a graduate of the Lebow College of Business of the Drexel University. She holds a B.Sc degree in Management Information Systems and a certificate of Independent Study in Business at the Leonardo De Vinci Universitaire in Paris, France.

She is very passionate about education especially the education of students in Africa. Matu has worked for more than 5yrs in the field of Business and Technology. She currently works for the Mayors Office of Information Services of the City of Philadelphia as an Oracle Database Administrator. She is also a singer and a song writer


Valentine Ike Ezike

Ike is the Vice President and co-founder of Technology for Liberia and an Enterprise Architect with WellPoint Inc. He is an accomplished information technology (IT) professional, with more than twelve (12) years of management consulting experience, working with clients in the healthcare, financial services, utilities, and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining WellPoint, Valentine spent four years with Diamond Management and Technology Consultants and more than seven years as a consultant and senior consultant with Ernst & Young and Cap Gemini, responsible for IT strategy, enterprise architecture, solution development, system architecture, quality assurance, and systems integration.

Beyond the consulting landscape, Ike's interests include bodybuilding, music and films. Ike and his brother Chidi Ezike, along with other partners, founded Linius Inc, a grassroot, new age and culturally aware film company in Minneapolis, MN. Ike grew up and attended high school in Liberia, West Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University in Boston, MA and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business with concentrations in Finance, Information Technology and Operations Management.

Bortie Teh

Bortie is the Vice President of Operations with Technology for Liberia and he works for the Community College of Rhode Island as Manager, Student Information System.

Bortie has worked in Information Technology with a number of higher education institutions as a computer programmer/analyst. Bortie's wish is to help get Liberia's education systems computerize student information.


Elvis L. Marshall

Elvis is senior data warehouse developer at Surveillance Data Inc, Plymouth Meeting, and USA. Elvis holds a Masters in Software Engineering from Drexel University College of Information Science and Technology.

Elvis has over 10 years IT experience. Prior to moving to the United States in 2001, Elvis was Technical Manager for Atlantic Wireless, Liberia Inc, a wireless internet and cell phone Company in Liberia.


Marj Mensah

Marj is the Director of Public Relations at Technology for Liberia and is a part of the recruiting team at Staffing Plus, Inc. She is a Health Care professional with over 10 years of Behavioral and Allied health experiences. After completing her MBA with concentration in Health Care Management, she decided to join the Human Resource world recruiting professionals in the Behavioral Health field.

With her great passion for education, Marj searched for a way to give back to her native country Liberia. After hearing about this project, she decided to join Technology of Liberia because of what it represents and how beneficial it is to Liberian students. Being the PR Director has afforded Marj with a sense of accomplishment in respect to giving back to Liberia.
